Mishima Taisah Shrine
Mishima Taisha is one of the popular shrines in Izu area, nurturing faith by a lot of people. Orange osmanthus (sweet tea tree) growing in the shrine is a national treasure. Every August, there is summer festival including yabusame (horseback archery). Treasure museum is nice as well.

Rakujuen Park
Rakujuen Park is the city park which was a vacation home in the area of 6.6 ha (20,000 tsubo) owned by Komatsunomiya Akihito Shinnou, a member of royal family. Trees with over 120 years old have formed rich forest and the view of melting snow of Mt. Fuji flowing from lavas is splendid. Rakujuen Park has been registered as national momument as well as scenic beauty.

Megumi no ko (water well doll) inside Shirataki Park
Water well doll named "Megumi no ko" calls out "Yoisho! (Oops-a-daisy!)" and laves spring water when you stand in front of the well. The spring water which is river bed water from Mt. Fuji is very cold and very delicious.
